ABOUT THIS PROJECT
'Refuge' is a short film that explores displacement, brotherhood and the struggle to reconcile life and deal with trauma far from home.
Set against the backdrop of rural England, it follows two cousins Assem and Nadim, as they navigate their precarious existence in a makeshift campsite while trying to come to terms with a new country and a society that does not fully welcome them.
